Filter to the specialties that prescribe your therapeutic area, inside a radius around each rep's territory, in a rolling ninety-day window.
Nurse practitioners and physician assistants
In most states these clinicians prescribe, and in psychiatry and primary care they now outnumber physicians among new registrations. Any targeting model built only on MDs is missing the faster-growing half.
Group affiliation
With the CMS Doctors and Clinicians file loaded, stated group name and size are available, which matters when access is controlled at the practice rather than the prescriber.
What this data will not tell you
The registry records no prescribing data whatsoever — not volume, not therapeutic area, not formulary. It tells you who exists and in what specialty. Prescribing behaviour comes from Medicare Part D public files or licensed data, which are separate sources.
